The Aquanello Eterna 2-way thermostatic exposed bathtub faucet in matte black combines a sleek cylindrical design with comfortable thermostatic control and an exceptionally durable finish. The faucet is mounted directly on the wall and features an integrated bathtub spout as well as a separate connection for a hand shower.

The faucet is crafted from high-quality stainless steel and features a special multi-layer surface treatment. A chrome-plated undercoat is first applied to the stainless steel, after which the faucet is finished with a black coating. This combination results in an exceptionally durable, wear-resistant, and highly scratch-resistant matte black finish.

Thermostatic bath faucet with 2 functions

The thermostatic control allows you to comfortably set the desired water temperature. The faucet has two outlet functions: the integrated bath spout for filling the tub and a separate G1/2" connection for a hand shower.

Please note: the hand shower and shower hose are not included and can be ordered separately.

Integrated bath spout

The integrated bath spout is approximately 154 mm long and is angled downward at approximately 22°. This directs the water precisely into the tub.

The complete faucet is approximately 264 mm wide and is suitable for wall mounting with a center-to-center distance of 150 mm. This center-to-center distance matches the standard connection size for surface-mounted bathtub and shower faucets.

Exceptionally scratch-resistant matte black finish

The Aquanello Eterna matte black thermostatic bath faucet stands out thanks to the special construction of its surface finish. The stainless steel is first given a chrome-plated base layer and then finished with a black coating.

This multi-layer treatment ensures exceptionally high scratch and wear resistance, ensuring that the matte black finish remains beautiful for a long time, even with intensive daily use. The chrome-plated undercoat forms a strong and durable base for the black coating.

The deep matte black color enhances the minimalist design and pairs beautifully with concrete-look finishes, natural stone, marble, light-colored tiles, and other matte black bathroom fixtures.

Pair the faucet with a matte black Aquanello Eterna hand shower and shower hose for a complete and uniform bathroom setup featuring the same high-quality, highly scratch-resistant finish.

Pros and cons11 / 3

Pros

Exceptionally scratch-resistant – the black finish is highly resistant to scratches and heavy daily use.
Highly wear-resistant finish—the combination of a chrome-plated base layer and a black top coat ensures a strong and durable surface finish.
Long-lasting color finish – the black top coat is designed to retain its appearance over time.
Suitable for heavy-duty use – the strong surface finish makes the material ideal for bathroom faucets, showers, and accessories.

Cons

Limescale may become visible—dried water droplets and limescale stand out more quickly, especially on a black finish.
Avoid harsh chemicals—cleaning products containing chlorine or those that are highly acidic or alkaline can damage the surface finish.
